Nashville, Tenn. – Since bursting onto the Bluegrass scene with their debut album in 2019, the Tim Raybon Band has gone on to release seven No. 1 hits with their unique style of music. They’re gearing up for the next chapter with their third studio album I Can Get Used To This, coming in 2023. The Tennessee based group is also excited to reveal the brand new single, “Ilene Baker” – out now! Fans can download and/or stream the hard-driving tune HERE.
“Ilene Baker” follows the theme of their previous tracks penned by Tim Raybon. The emphasis on telling a relatable and compelling story is always at the forefront of each track penned by the RIAA Gold-certified singer/songwriter. In this case Ilene Baker is the center of the narrative, detailing her inability to move on from a man she met on Bourbon Street who lives in New Orleans. Once you add in the upbeat musicianship, it has all elements of a Bluegrass anthem!
“I guess most men have met a lady in their lifetime that they absolutely adored but her heart was dedicated to someone else, and she would do anything to be with him, good or bad,” says Tim Raybon. “That’s my girl Ilene Baker.”
With the anticipation continuing to build for the full album, there are plenty of things to look forward to. The collection will also include the lead single, “Leaving Cleveland.” Following its release, it went on to spend multiple weeks at No. 1 on the Bluegrass Today Weekly Airplay Chart. It was followed by the fiddle-driven cut “Sally Johnson” which spent multiple weeks on the radio charts as well. Perhaps another standout on the next project is the Gospel-infused Bluegrass anthem “That Reunion.” Its chilling lyrics describe a preacher detailing the moment when we meet our lost loved ones again in Heaven.
