Nashville, Tenn. – With Memorial Day coming up next week and the 4th of July right around the corner, Bluegrass chart-topping group the Tim Raybon Band just unveiled their chilling new single, “Arlington.” It’s a breathtaking tribute to our fallen heroes, with a patriotic message that is sure to instantly grab each listener’s attention with Raybon’s signature powerhouse vocals. Fans can download and/or stream the full recording HERE.

“May we NEVER forget the road to our freedom has been paved by the brave soldiers who gave their life for us,” says Tim Raybon. “Many are buried all over this world, and many more in the most sacred resting place in America: Arlington. Our fight now and forevermore, is to ensure they have not died in vain.”

“Arlington” is a song that was written by Dave Turnbull and Jeremy Spillman. The heartbreaking anthem was originally recorded by Country star Trace Adkins in 2005, but Raybon’s reimagined version channels an even more somber Bluegrass vibe throughout. Accompanying Tim’s lead vocals on instrumentation are Austin Brown (guitar and bass), Andy Leftwich (fiddle and mandolin), Rob Ickes (dobro) and Chris Latham (engineer). The tune also marks the group’s first ballad released as a single since 2020 (“God’s Still In Control”).

The new single release comes on the heels of Raybon notching his 11th No. 1 hit with the previous single, “Headed Back To Tulsa.” Released earlier this year, the track has become a staple at radio, hitting No. 1 on the Roots Music Report Traditional Bluegrass Song chart last week. It’s part of the Tim Raybon Band’s most recent critically acclaimed project, I Could Get Used To This, released in the fall of 2023. The collection received universal praise, and also garnered a staggering five chart-toppers on the Bluegrass Today and Roots Music Report charts. Raybon took his songwriting skills to new heights as well, by either writing or co-writing an impressive nine tracks.
