This original song, penned by Edgar Loudermilk himself, delivers an inspiring message of hope, perseverance and faith. Built on a foundation of upbeat instrumentation, and driving rhythms, “Yes We’re Sailing” captures the spirit of pressing forward, even in uncertain times—reminding listeners that something greater is waiting ahead. With its heartfelt lyrics and must-hear Gospel twist, the track reflects the band’s signature blend of hard-hitting Bluegrass with a powerful emotional core.
The new single follows a string of successful releases from the Edgar Loudermilk Band. “My Picasso” charted for multiple months on the Bluegrass Unlimited National Bluegrass Survey, while their Gospel hit “The Banks of the River” climbed all the way to No. 2 on the Bluegrass Today Weekly Gospel Airplay Chart, where it spent a total of 10 weeks in the Top Ten. Most recently, “Your Shadow Still Hangs Heavy on This Mountain,” co-written with Mark “Brink” Brinkman, offered a haunting and memorable listen that gained traction at radio.
