Nashville, Tenn. – Award-winning Bluegrass band Route 3 has released their latest radio single, “Mile High In Denver,” available now on all digital and streaming platforms. The track is featured on their most recent live album The Best of Route 3: Live at The Station Inn, recorded during a SOLD OUT performance at Nashville’s iconic venue. Co-written by band members Greg Potter and Jason Jordan, “Mile High In Denver” stands out as one of Route 3’s most compelling originals. The song’s lyrics explore moving forward after difficult times, navigating heartbreak and finding strength in letting go. While it holds a clear breakup theme, its core message leans toward empowerment, hope and the courage to begin again. The release follows previous singles from the band’s Pinecastle catalog, further showcasing their depth as songwriters and storytellers.
The track appears on The Best of Route 3: Live at The Station Inn, a collection that captures the raw energy and musicianship of Route 3 in a live setting. Recorded in November 2024 during the venue’s 50th anniversary year, the performance features Jason Jordan (guitar, vocals), Doug Clifton (bass, vocals), Greg Potter (mandolin, vocals) and Janice Martin (banjo, vocals), along with special guest and Station Inn owner Joshua Ulbrich (dobro). The album includes fan favorites from Losing Time and Just Believe, standout originals like “Captain,” and a selection of timeless covers that showcase the band’s dynamic range.
Based in Southwest Missouri, Route 3 has quickly become one of the most respected groups on the Bluegrass national scene. After previously being named the Arkansas Country Music Awards’ (ACMA) Bluegrass Artist of the Year, the band has performed at leading festivals across the Midwest, appeared on television programs and charted high-impact singles including “Cartersville,” which reached the Top 5 on the Bluegrass Today chart.
