New Single Available Now; Full Project Releases October 18, Featuring Seven Total Songs
Nashville, Tenn. – Bluegrass/Roots band Route 3 has just released their latest single, “Boy From West Virginia.” Available today via Pinecastle Records, the track offers a compelling narrative about staying connected to your roots despite life’s inevitable changes. “Boy From West Virginia” highlights Route 3’s signature Bluegrass sound, complete with hard-hitting instrumentation and heartfelt storytelling. The song’s lyrics, written by band member Jason Jordan, reflect the notion of never forgetting where you came from, no matter how much you grow or change throughout life. Jordan’s powerful songwriting and guitar work take center stage, delivering a heartfelt and relatable message for listeners. The track also highlights the talents of fellow Route 3 members, including Doug Clifton on bass, Janice Martin on banjo, Greg Potter on mandolin, and special guest Ron Stewart on fiddle.
“It’s a story of a young man who grew up in hard times around the coal mines and decided that was just not what he wanted to do with his life like his dad had done,” explains Jason Jordan. “He had dreams of being out on the road playing his songs, meeting the love of his life, and just getting away from West Virginia. He soon realizes the grass isn’t always greener on the other side and learns to be thankful for what you have and where you come from.”
The upcoming JustBelieve album will feature seven tracks, including the previously released lead single “Don’t Know What I’ll Do.” The collection showcases the band’s well-known energy, tight harmonies, and impressive instrumental performances.
