Reigning IBMA New Artist of the Year Continues Breakout Run With Latest Single From Upcoming Sophomore Project
Nashville, Tenn. – Riding a wave of momentum into one of the biggest moments of their career, Red Camel Collective have released their brand-new single, “Finding Your Way Home,” available now on all digital and streaming platforms (listen HERE). The heartfelt original arrives just two weeks before the band makes their official Grand Ole Opry debut on February 27, marking yet another milestone in what has already been a banner year for the rising Bluegrass quartet.
Written by lead vocalist and reigning SPBGMA Female Vocalist of the Year Heather Berry Mabe alongside acclaimed songwriter Scott Patrick, “Finding Your Way Home” showcases the band’s gift for meaningful storytelling and emotional depth. The song leans into themes of resilience, purpose and the universal pull toward comfort and belonging. It made its world premiere yesterday exclusively on SiriusXM’s Bluegrass Junction, where listeners heard the track for the very first time alongside an interview with Heather and host Joey Black. The release follows the band’s previous single, “In The Mexican Sun,” and will be featured on Red Camel Collective’s upcoming sophomore album, due later this year via Pinecastle Records.
“Each animal mentioned in this song is free-spirited, unaware of the dangers and challenges they face for survival,” shares Mabe. “They have a goal of finding their way to their safe space, home. I feel that we are all on a journey much like that and that’s why I felt inspired to write this song.”
She adds, “I first wrote this as a poem and couldn’t seem to find a tune. I sent the lyrics to my buddy Scott Patrick who came up with the perfect melody. This song is so dear to my heart, and it’s probably my favorite that I have ever written.”
Comprised of Heather Berry Mabe, Tony Mabe, Curt Love and Johnathan Dillon, Red Camel Collective first came together after years of performing with Junior Sisk, striking out on their own while still honoring deep Bluegrass traditions. Their self-titled debut album debuted at No. 1 on the Bluegrass charts in 2025, where it remained for three consecutive months, and helped earn them the IBMA New Artist of the Year honor. Heather Berry Mabe has also been recognized individually, most recently being named SPBGMA Female Vocalist of the Year last month, further cementing the band’s reputation as one of the genre’s most compelling new bands. The group is currently in the studio recording their sophomore album and continues to build momentum following their recent signing with Mandy Miller (formerly Mandy Tenery) of Advance Artist Support for management and booking representation.
