New Single “Look For Me And I’ll Be There” Offers a Fresh Take on a Beloved Doyle Lawson Classic
Nashville, Tenn. – Bluegrass favorites Nick Chandler and Delivered have officially released their new album, Look For Me, available now from Pinecastle Records. The ten-track collection blends the band’s signature traditional Bluegrass sound with fresh arrangements, featuring a mix of original songs and thoughtfully selected classics. Serving as the album’s latest single, “Look For Me And I’ll Be There” is Nick Chandler and Delivered’s new interpretation of the Doyle Lawson and Randall Colwell composition that has become a favorite among Bluegrass fans over the years. Chandler chose to record the song as a tribute to his wife, Trudy, saying the lyrics have always held a special meaning for the two of them. The heartfelt recording follows a successful string of charting singles from the project, including “Hazel Creek,” “Old Devil’s Dream,” “Follow The Leader,” and “Maria,” all of which helped build momentum leading into the album’s release.
Look For Me marks Nick Chandler and Delivered’s first full length album since 2022’s Silver Bird. The collection features ten recordings that showcase the band’s balance of original material and carefully chosen favorites. Alongside Chandler’s original written “Maria,” the album also includes the Gary Trivette-penned “Swept,” Jake Burrows‘ original composition instrumental “Don’t Cry For Me,” and new recordings of songs made popular by some of Bluegrass music’s most respected writers and performers. The band features Nick Chandler on mandolin and lead vocals, Gary Trivette on bass and vocals, Jake Burrows on banjo and Spencer Atkinson on guitar and tenor vocals.
