Nashville, Tenn. – North Carolina based band Nick Chandler and Delivered are charging forward with the announcement of two new radio releases. The recording “For So Many Years” will serve as the latest Bluegrass single, while the song “Lonely Road” will be the Gospel cut out now simultaneously. Both are featured on the group’s latest critically acclaimed project Silver Bird, which is available for download and/or streaming in-full HERE.
“I am so proud to release these two songs. ‘For So Many Years’ is right in the Nick Chandler and Delivered vein. It’s an upbeat love song with harmony and music that is so fun to play,” says Nick Chandler. “I am especially proud to release ‘Lonely Road’ written by our own Gary Trivette. Gary is an accomplished songwriter and I’m excited to release this Gospel tune which features Gary on lead vocals. We hope you all enjoy them.”
“For So Many Years” is a banjo-driven tune that centers around Chandler’s laid-back vocals. Written by JC Davis and Grady Series, it’s a breakup anthem that is sure to resonate well with Bluegrass audiences with its straight-ahead production. On the other end, “Lonely Road” delivers a powerful message about finding your way in this world, with a little help from the Lord. It was penned by Gary Len Trivette and showcases a new side of the group, serving as the first Gospel single release from the latest project.
Released in the fall of 2022, the project has received high praise. Complimenting its diverse sound, IndiePulse Music complemented the album by saying, “Nick Chandler and Delivered are serving up a personalized brand of bluegrass that can handle many styles and subject matters under its watch.” The Hollywood Digest said in their rave review, “There’s a lot working for them over the course of Silver Bird that helps make it one of 2022’s best bluegrass/roots releases.” In total, there are 12 recordings including the previous hits “Slowly Getting You Out Of The Way,” “I Don’t Wanna Be Me Anymore” and “Darling Please Come On Home.”
Nick Chandler and Delivered are also moving onto the second round of the IBMA Awards in multiple categories. In addition to the coveted “Album of the Year” with Silver Bird, the band is also for your consideration as “New Artist of the Year,” “Instrumental Group of the Year,” “Instrumental Recording of the Year” (“Silver Bird”), plus “Mandolin Player of the Year” (Nick Chandler).
