Nashville, Tenn. – Rising Bluegrass group Lindley Creek is gearing up for their next single, and it won’t be long before “Spring Is In The Air Again.” The breathtaking, Jim VanCleve produced track is part of the band’s latest project, Whispers In The Wind, which came out late last summer. Download and/or stream the new single HERE.

“Spring Is In The Air Again” was written by Tim Stafford alongside Robert Starnes. The sound channels the Missouri based group’s earlier work, and centers around the powerful vocals of IBMA “Momentum Vocalist of the Year” nominee Katie Greer. The track was an early favorite for the band when they went to record their sophomore album, and would eventually become the inspiration behind the project’s name, Whispers In The Wind. The announcement comes after Punxsutawney Phil rose last Friday without seeing his shadow, indicating an early start to spring this year. Lindley Creek has also spent the last year working on the official video, which will be coming out soon.

Upon the release of Whispers In The Wind, the project received glowing reviews. Indie Pulse Music said, “Their style is undeniable while their ongoing potential is likely to be something critics from one coast to the other are talking about…” Melody Maker Magazine praised the collection’s diverse sound by saying, “Big immersive melodicism is a major ingredient in Lindley Creek’s recipe for a perfect folk album.” Finally, Jay Vee Music Review adds that “Lindley Creek are QUALITY PERFORMERS and QUALITY STORYTELLERS! This record is strong TOP TO BOTTOM!!”

Lindley Creek first burst onto the national scene in 2020 with their debut Pinecastle Records project Freedom, Love And The Open Road. Upon its release, the group quickly burst into the national Bluegrass world. It resulted in Lindley Creek receiving two IBMA Momentum Award nominations for “Band of the Year” and “Vocalist of the Year” (Katie Greer). Their lead single “I Gotta Go” went on to hit No. 2 on the Bluegrass Today Weekly Airplay Chart and spent 12 weeks in the Top Ten of the Roots Music Report charts, peaking at No. 1.
