AVAILABLE TO RADIO TODAY!

The first single from the album,
“My Kentucky Home,” released this past February, showcased Loudermilk’s songwriting prowess yet again. Having written or co-written eight of the twelve songs on Georgia Maple, Loudermilk’s bluegrass roots come across loud and clear with this recording.

Edgar Loudermilk was raised on bluegrass music, heavily influenced by his Grandfather, his Father, as well as the exposed to the music of his famous relatives, The Louvin Brothers, from a young age. He spent the first half of his professional career backing genre nobles like Rhonda Vincent, Marty Raybon, and Russell Moore (IIIrd Tyme Out). During that time, he released his first two solo projects, Roads Travelled and My Big Chance Tomorrow, both garnering high praise and heavy airplay from bluegrass radio. Loudermilk left IIIrd Tyme Out for a new venture, a duo as (Dave) Adkins & Loudermilk, releasing another highly acclaimed self-titled project in 2015. One of the most successful tracks on the record, “Georgia Mountain Man,” written by Edgar about his Grandfather, was #9 on the Bluegrass Today 2015 Top Played Bluegrass Radio Airplay chart. The duo also earned a nomination for IBMA Emerging Artist of the year in 2015.

As the Edgar Loudermilk Band, featuring Jeff Autry, Edgar is really settling into the idea of moving forward with this band structure and the pure quality of music that is being produced and shared. The group has a true chemistry and stage dynamic that comes across in their show and the level of talent is astounding. ELB4

The new release is comprised of phenomenal instrumentals and vocals from Edgar Loudermilk, bass player, together with his band mates, featured guitarist, Jeff Autry, Dobro player, Glen Crain, and mandolin player, Zack Autry; as well as impressive banjo player, Chris Wade, from Gatlinburg, TN.

On Tour for 2016 with a stacked calendar of about 80 dates and more being added weekly, Edgar Loudermilk and his incredibly talented band are clearly here for the long haul as well they should be. Georgia Maple is available TODAY to radio programmers through AirPlay Direct and the public can currently purchase the single or pre-order the album via iTunes, Amazon or Google Play.
