Dale Ann Bradley has topped the February “Bluegrass Unlimited” chart with her debut single from the album “Pocket Full of Keys.” The album is nominated for Bluegrass Album of the Year at the annual GRAMMY awards, which air on CBS on Monday.

The album’s second single release, “Sweetheart of the Pines,” is already making its presence known on the “Bluegrass Today” chart at number 9. The song was penned by Emmylou Harris and Paul Kennerley, and recorded by Harris on her “Thirteen” album.

“This song excites me, with the temp droning melody and the story of never ending love,” Bradley says. “That happens all the time, I know, but especially in the mountains where I’m from. And Emmylou is one of my favorite singers.”
Bradley is also excited about the GRAMMYs on Monday, February 15th. Although she is unable to attend the awards show because of a previous commitment, she will be glued to her television as the awards are being announced. “I look forward to watching the awards show, as I always do, and hearing all the different music that comes out of that one event,” the singer says. “It is always fun to see who is there and the different singers they put together for special segments of the show.”

Bradley has a slate of bookings for the coming months. Check out here website at www.daleann.com for additional shows throughout the spring and summer.
