Biography

Comprised of powerhouse musicians Heather Berry Mabe, Tony Mabe, Curt
Love and Johnathan Dillon, Red Camel Collective has quickly become one of
the most talked-about new names in modern Bluegrass. Fresh off winning the
2025 International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) Award for New Artist of
the Year, which is one of the genre’s highest honors, the group has firmly
established themselves as one of Bluegrass music’s brightest rising acts.

Their self-titled debut album made an immediate impact, spending its first three
months at No. 1 on the Bluegrass Unlimited Album Chart, while also holding
strong for 30 consecutive weeks in the Top 20 of the Roots Music Report
Contemporary Bluegrass Album Chart. The critically acclaimed project produced
multiple charting hit singles including “Roll On Mississippi,” “Sincerity,” “Last Time
I Saw Him” (featuring Suzanne Cox & Sharon White) and “Daughter of the Stars,”
which became their first No. 1 on the Cashbox Bluegrass Chart.

Praised by publications such as Fame Magazine, The Hollywood Digest, Vents
Magazine, and nearly every major Bluegrass and Roots outlet, critics have
described Red Camel Collective as “an exceptional project, well worthy of your
attention” and “one of the hottest new bands in the bluegrass scene.”

Blending heartfelt vocals, masterful musicianship and a modern approach to
traditional roots, the band’s sound is both timeless and refreshingly new. While
continuing to tour nationwide—including performances alongside Junior
Sisk—the group is currently in the studio recording their highly anticipated
sophomore album.

The project’s lead single, “In The Mexican Sun,” was released
in October 2025, offering a glimpse into the next exciting chapter of their musical
journey, with the full album expected in 2026.
